I am confused. I have a 302 w/ edelbrock 4bbl, new electric fuel pump and c4auto. I have good pick-up and power through most of the range, however, just before I reach the floor the engine loses power and seems to strain. I adjusted my fuel regulator for max flow at 7.5 and all filters are clean. Any ideas as to why something like this is happening? I want to say fuel starvation but I richened the mix and still no go. TIA, Mike

Try a vented gas cap.
