Please check this engine out and tell me if it is a good deal. I am replacing my 302 in my '77. Only this that sucks is that I will have to ship from Oregon to FL. What things should I be weary of? TIA, Mike

Is this a good deal? Please take a look.for $800. it sounds ok.. but remember its across the country and being sold by a friend of a etc etc.. and i would REALLY want a warranty on a new engine.. also you will be responsible for crating and shipping and that will probably run a few $$$ would check into the shipping probably forward air or ??? and ask seller for a copy of the build.. then contact the "builder" ask them how long they been in business references etc.. and WHAT warr do they provide phil if there is a local list member in Medford area maybe they can do a visual and compression check before final payment is released from a escrow acct ??
