Is that all you have to do to get the lazy eye effect? Then do you put in brighter bulbs or what goes on? I just want the complete instructions on how to do this. >

Yeah, but as for driving at night, you can't see shit if they are too low, I don't do that at night. Also, check probetalk.com and search for lazy eye for a way to hook up a switch to a wire under the dash, someone on there had a good website with instructions. Some people use foglights (2 on each side) instead of having headlights. That is also an option. Scott 93se

I did the lazy eye alot different a while ago... i ran into the fuse box at
the retra fuse and ran two wires out one to an inline fuse (cause the fuse
was there for a reason) and then ran both wires to a temporary on switch
(radioshack 5$) i got the big red button.. then what you do is turn your
lights on.. push the switch in quick and they will come up a little.. then
when you let the button out the motor dosent get any power so you can turn
the lights on or off and roll.. also all you have to do to turn on the lights
is turn the switch.. then hold the button in until they stop .. .vise versa
for turning them off..

I hope this helps.. you cant see at night but near dawn its real phat
lookin.. then at night push the button in..

this is alot better than the way i read you all were doing it and its not
permanant

That’s basically the way I did it too. I didn’t do the retra fuse thing.

I know this has been discussed before but the lazy eye mod really is more trouble than it's worth;  especially if you're planning to use the stock headlamps. No matter how you adjust it you're reducing the amount of useful light to the street due to the partially blocked beams. You really got to like the looks of the sleepy eye to give that up.   On a personal note I'm not a fan at all of sleepy eye.  To me it just looks like "broken headlamp mechanism".  And I don't know why anyone would like to keep their pop-up headlights up all the time.  It takes away from the sleek front end of the Probe.           -Lino Sacman, SCPOC

I agree with you, is it worth it. I only use it for pictures really,  or at dusk before it gets dark outside.

If you go to Probtalk.com and go to the Photo section you'll find different mods for the head lights. Its a great website, you'll learn a lot of new things and get help with the problems you run into.
