Lee Trepanier joined Assumption University as dean of the D’Amour College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in July 2024. Previously, he served as the Chair of the Political Science Department at Samford University in Alabama and at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. Trepanier served as director of several civic education programs for high school teachers and students, pre-law advisor for college students, and is editor of Bloomsbury Academic’s Politics, Literature, and Film book series. Trepanier is a Political Scientist and teaches political philosophy, constitutional law, and American Politics. His research is in Eric Voegelin; Politics and Literature; Religion and Politics; Democracy and Education; and Teaching and Learning Political Science.
