I recently installed a 21/2" Bassani X-pipe w/cats and 21/2" Flowmaster 3 chamber cat back on my 94GT. Since the install I get a jump in RPM when I shift. I have tried taking my foot off the gas a moment before pressing the clutch but I still get the jump. I usually shift at around 2000 RPMs and it jumps to 22-2300. It usually stalls at that RPM for about 2 seconds before dropping. The higher I run it before shifting the greater the jump. I don't know where to even begin checking things. One more question- does the 94 have the same clutch adjustment (pull up on the pedal) as the 89 or do I need to adjust from underneath at the fork? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

yes the cluth adjustment is the same. It sounds like your RPM jumping is the same problem with the RPM moving around at idle. There is a post on here from a while ago. The other place you can go is www.stangnet.com and post a message there. This Club doesnt get alot of foot traffic. If Stnag net cant help try www.corral.net Its a good place to get answers as well.

Allen
