When you say that the car has low oil pressure, are you getting this reading
from the pressure meter in the car? If I remember correctly, only the '93s
have a sensor that actually gives a reading of oil pressure. All the other
years are just a switch that when the pressure is too high or too low it
will show on the meter. I don't know what year yours is but unless it's a
'93, I wouldn't worry about it. It's prob. just lazy. As for the ticking,
check Bryan's page (http://probenet.tripod.com) for the TSB on the oil pump.
