After I blew up the auto hubs ( pulling out a very stuck one ton pickup from a snowbank) I had it in the shop. They put in Warn hubs, with a spacer kit for the bearings and maybe new seals for around $250 in parts. The labor was around two hours @ $60 per. I am so much happier with the set-up now as I do all kinds of abusive things with my Explorer and occasionally some very serious four-wheeling that my ground clearance (stock) will allow. This conversion requires you to get out of the car and manually turn the hub to the lock position before four wheel drive can be engaged with the push button on the dash. Hope this helps. Jerry

Thanks for the info Jerry, this is great to have in my archive collection. If I blow up my autohubs now I know what to do. M.
