Has anyone had their master cylinder on their clutch go out? If so, what happened and why does this happen? Story behind this is, I got into my car this morning and my clutch was all the way to the floor. FUN FUN, huh? Andrea

Hi Andrea, Very sorry to hear about your clutch prob. First, look under the dash and find the clutch pedal, once there look and see if the linkage has come off. I've had a problem with my clutch slave cylinder going bad which will do the same thing...pedal all the way to the floor. Look under the hood and find your clutch reservoir and check to see if its full. If the linkage is in place and the reservoir is full than most likely your clutch master cylinder or clutch slave cylinder has went bad on you. Its much easier to replace the Master cylinder than the slave. The slave is inside the transmission and would require pulling the tranny to replace. Good luck. Del
