Well I've been pretty busy the last couple weeks and was just thinking 'bout how I've been neglecting my car. To make a long story shot....its gone! The last time I saw it was when I gave a friend a jump-start at work about two weeks ago. It could have fell off five minutes after that or last night I have no idea. Now my Q is- would I have noticed if I picked up any considerable amount of road scum right when it happened, or is it something that takes a while to do damage? I know it only takes a pebble to do internal damage to pistons, rings, etc. and now I can't help but wonder if the damage is already done. There is no difference if perf or idle and I really haven't driven it that much sience, maybe 50 miles. Is there anything I should look out for or keep an eye on? Worst case? And where could I pick up an HKS filter...best price? Thanks all. Kevin

Typically, it would be very difficult for any large piece to get up there, the main thing to worry about is contamination on the filaments of the MAF sensor (assuming you still have the stock piece there). Unfortunately you might not notice that for a few months, but you would notice it - a lot! Michael
