I have an 84 F150 4x4 with a 351W just converted from a V6. Anyway. I took my truck out for a while this morning, had some great spinning action, no stucks though, did the usual though, put it in 2 wd and get stuck rock for awhile then put it 4 wheel drive, and after a few minutes get it out. A friend of mine who was with me decided to take his 2wd chevy out. He's 31, said he could get out of any stuck situation. So I parked my truck on some solid ground and he took his truck out in some areas where he had been with me in my truck. Did pretty good, but...he found out the HARD (snicker) way. I watched him putting his cowboy boots (about size 12) trying to rock his truck out of the mud. He kept on rocking with determination. I offered to pull him out, but he said he wanted to prove that he could get out. He kept on rocking until he eventually had it down to the frame and admitted he was licked. He didn't mind about getting stuck, in fact, he kind of grinned and said "Well guess I'm stuck...I've been driving since I was 14 and never gotten stuck before". I let him drive my 4x4 around, now I think he is hooked. He wants to start doing some wheel spinning with me now also. He was really abusing the pedal too. Those cowboy boots were really pounding the floor trying to get out before he gave up. He had mud up on his hood from where he had tried to get out, so the rear wheels were really smokin and kicking up red clay trying to get out. Pretty good day. He's also decided to get rid of his Chevy and get an F150 like mine!!! Any good stuck stories out there?
