Thanks for the reply Dianne!Spent the day looking and driving a few
cars and havent made a decision yet on the future of my sport! Not
very excited about trading in for $1500.Drove a Corolla and was
totally disappointed. Also a new Suzuki called the Forenza. That drove
ok and has a fantastic warranty and a low price. Also drove a Saturn
ION and came away extremly impressed. That appears to be the front
runner if I do something!IM a long distance truck driver and am
leaving for 2 weeks on Monday so I doubt I will do anything
tommorow.I also washed it today which made me feel good. The
Champagne color still shines and the A/c still cools these FL days
so I may just hold onto it for a while longer. When I originally
purchased this vehicle,I was a salesman for a dealership on Long
Island NY,and felt like the vehicle was a mini SHO.Car has been
pretty reliable anduntil this recent spat of trouble it has not
layed down on me.The trouble I have with it is all the parts are
unique and expensive to replace.Any motor work is a killer to do and
even the alternater was a major headache because of the location. The
thermostat is an unusual design and is a Ford only part. The water
pump is made of plastic. But when all is said and done it still
brings a smile to my face when I run through the gears and steer it
into the corners!Best wishes Charlie
