Okay, I think my clutch slipped this weekend. My heart jumped into my throat, but i think i'm going to be okay. My quewstion is whether or not anybody has replaced their clutch? And if so... should i go (dare i say) performance? Its expensive but i might as well take the opputunity though. And as for all the stories recently about your probes and somebody elses car... I own two cars. Ones a 2.0 93 se, and the other is a 99 mustang gt convertible. The 93 is fast. With all the mods on it i'm looking at realisticly 135-140 horse. My mustang comes stock with 260 and i've replace the headers and exshaust. Don't get me wrong my probe is awesome. Its one of two sports cars I've owned out of six that i consider to be the best (the mustang being the other) but my probe will never, ever, ever get even an inch ahead of my stang in a race. So for you guys cutting heads off of porches and mustangs... you know something i don't. Maybe ford secretly put in a N.O.S. and didn't tell me. I don'! t know... its just hard to believe thats all. Pete (prober for life) 93se manual bosal header and cat-back pacesetter air intake

Well I know I can not out run a GT mustang but I do know I can out run V6 mustangs, V6 camaros, Stock ATX GT Probes, I have raced a mustang Cobra and I got my ass spanked but by only three car lengths which to me is not bad as when I have seen him pull NEONS and CIVICS by 5 car lengths

well, its stock 115 and the Air intake is awesome so 7 or so... thats 120-123... the headers add 7-10 thats 127-133... the exhaust adds 7-10, thats 135-143... really probably 135 is realistic... plus thats at the fly wheel too, compared to fords orignial HP rating. Not at the wheels. The mustang i know is at 260 at the fltwheel so i compared it that way

I WISH it worker like that :) While each mod does add power, each one gives its peak performance gain at a different RPM. I dought you have gained 20 horses at the peak but but you have certiantly increased you average power over the whole RPM band signifigantly.

What kind of header do you have?? The Bosal only gives a Dyno proven 5 HP, same for the Bosal exhaust. The header and exhaust combined gave a 9 hp gain on a dyno. Your intake must be better than any other, the iceman is only rated at 6-8 hp gain, and it's the best on the market. Don't mean to bust on you, but if you are going to throw out numbers, try to get proven results. I used a G-tech and with all my mods: Borla Exhaust, RS Akimoto intake, Nology wires, MSD 6AL ignition, Venom 400 module, unorthodox racing Underdrive pulley, I was at a whopping 112, corrected to the flywheel it's only 129 HP. Granted i don't have the header and the G-tech is +/- 3 HP, but I still can't see 135 with what you have. Steve

okay... you think a 2.0 can beat my new stang you are MORE than welcome to race me. Please, I want you to. Actually, I'm sorry. I didn't mean this to be a pissing comtest by any means. But i was surprised that you guys are blowing away beemers and stangs and i'm getting torn up by cav's and first generation preludes (well, not anymore) considering i have the same mods eveyone else says they have. Cold air intake by pace setter (the one that drops to just above the road) a borls header and cat-back. I'm replacing my clutch soon, putting in an MSD and under drive pulleys, But i'd still like to that car compare to my 4.6 mustang. Its 260hp stock (i've modified it)... Its a fast car. Anyway. I'm sorry Pete
