I own a 1998 Ford contour se. It has the 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder motor, which packs 125 horsepower and 127 ft lb of torque. The car gets up and going from 0-60 in 9.5 seconds. Just tonight I blew the door off a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The handling is great, today I took a hairpin at 40 mph. The interior is okay for me, however It does have some features that I like. My seat is power adjustable in 6 ways, it has the sports mirrors and 15' alloy wheels with abs. The sound system in the contour is good when I turn on the Dolby button. The color is silver so nobody could notice if gets dirty, however I wash her every week and take care of the leather steering wheel and leather shifter and the cloth seats. I have only had the car for 3 weeks so I have not given her an oil change yet and I check the oil every week. The previous owner abused the contour, I had to redo the leather steering wheel with black leather to match the shifter and plastic. I think the contour has found a better home.
