Bought the car in April, and I've enjoyed it (mostly) so far. I like the smooth high ride, roominess, economy and the modern interior and exterior design.<br><br>I don't like the squeaky brakes. After checking them for defects, the Ford dealership service department handed me a Ford-published letter basically stating that it's just the way they work and they couldn't stop the squeaking. I'm not sure I should accept that as a final answer. My ZX3 is a standard 5-speed and I can't stand the "up-shift" light in the gauges and the window cranks operate backward from every other car I've been in. Finally, yesterday my clutch gave out and I had to limp it into the dealership this morning for repair. Stay tuned.

The only two cars that I know that have window cranks like Focus are Fiat and Alfa Romeo Sprider (that still remains my garage queen). Anyways, I replaced those with power windows for less than $100 at my local shop. I say you should do the same.
