Ok I have come to an important decision in my Thunderbirds life. She is a 95 4.6L V8 and has over 130,000 miles on her but has never had trouble and runs like brand new. I want to make her a high performance vehicle but I am afraid that the stress will be too high. Should I buy a 5.0L 302 V8 or keep the stock engine and do the upgrades, which will include everything from new catback exhaust to racing intake and new chip and mass airflow sensor. Just want some help. Thanks<br>Casey

You're better off sticking with the 4.6L. A 5.0 won't bolt up to your transmission so you'll need a new one if you go that route. If you want to get a new engine, the easiest route would be to get a '99-'02 mustang 4.6.
