I have a 73 Econoline. My carb is backfiring until it reaches 2500 rpm. I already cheacked the float with no help. Any Ideas? Thanks David

It sounds like to me a timing problem not a carb problem. Possibly the advance on the distributor. Check timing then check the vacuum unit on the distributor. check vacuum lines going to the distributor. Good luck\ gerry
