Hey, I live in Louisville, where we have two Ford plants and I have been hearing a lot of rumors that Ford will be making the full size Bronco again. That is all I know, but I have heard it from a lot of Ford employees.

The Bronco is really now a 4-door Expedition. As the 78-96 Bronco was built off the F150,so is the 97- Expedition (only a 4door though). The days of 2-door SUVs are about over.Look at the losses:
Bronco,K-5 Blazer/Tahoe,K-5 Jimmy/Yukon,Ramcharger,Trailduster,Mazda Navaho,Dodge Raider/Montero,Suzuki Samarai/X90.Whats left for 2-doors arent big sellers:
Explorer Sport,Rodeo Sport,Blazer/Jimmy,Vitara,Tracker.
The Bronco name is a good one,but I dont think Ford has any plans to revive it.The new mini SUV-Ford has now is called something else....

Its funny, but the company that most likely could build a Bronco "relative" isnt Ford but Dodge.A full size SUV off the Ram platform could be good.Straight axle, coil springs, husky OHV engines.Just probably wouldnt be a 2-door though! And yes, they couldnt use the Bronco name. Maybe Ramcharger though.(Although I have always detested Ramcharger/Traildusters as certified rustbuckets).

I hope they bring back the bronco name Dodge did with the ramcharger looks like a dakota/durango offspring but thier a hot seller to bad I've only seen them, south of the border. With the right kit it would look sweet but a 2000 type bronco that would kill the competition especially if it can go topless with a triton
