Hello. I'm glad to be part of this group. I bought a 96 two years ago and the gas gauge gave up about a month ago. Where do I start for a fix?

I have the same problem with my '86. It most like ly the sending unit in the tank. Easy way to tell is to jump two of the wire together that run to the sender. If the gauge goes to full its the sender. Problem is I don't know which wires to jump together, there are 3 wires on mine.
