Alright, for a month I was driving around with bad plug wires. Actually one was so bad that it wasn't connecting to the plug. I just replaced them with some NGK 8mm wires and my car is driving way better then when I bought it a year ago. It is so much faster now, it is unbelievable. My friend has a 89 Prelude Si and has driven my car before and he has also raced me and beat me by a car length. When I replaced my wires I let him drive it to make sure I wasn't making things up. Well he drove it and he thinks I could beat him pretty bad now. A couple other people have driven it and think it is faster than other Probes they have driven. Right now I have a Akimoto intake, Borla muffler, new NGK wires, and use Mobil1 oil. Also, I have a rebuilt engine...i was wondering if just wires alone would make it feel much faster or what. And now it seems that my intake is working properly. I also must mention the weather is starting to be colder and I know our engines run better in colder weather. Marc reborn 93'PSE

My guess is that the old wires were so bad that the new ones put the engine back to where its really supposed to be power-wise. The NGK's could be better than the stockers too, but the important thing is that your using all the power available to you now, which is a good thing. :) I notice you have an intake too, could be feeling that as well.
