Hey everyone! i was just checking out the ngk website.. www.ngksparkplugs.com and i decided to fiddle around with the site.. i noticed that according to the site.. the probe and mx-6 use diffrent plugs. both the 4 & 6 cyl models..that seemed odd to me since arent they essentially the same engine... and the probe was listed as not having a wire set availiable but the mx-6 has them.. would i be able to use the mx-6 wire set and put it in my probe.... currnetly i have canadian tire plug wires... most canadians would know what im talking about.. they arent exactly the best plug wires around.. it was on my car when i bought it.. im guessing the previos owner replaced the crappy stock ones..with another set of crappy wires.. oh i have a 94 PSE..are there any other suggestions on plug wires that would be availiable for the probe 4.cyl 2.0L..thankz Eugene 94 pse..

When I had to replace my '94 base wire set, I was astounded at the prices and looked for alternatives. By looking thru the list of cars at Pep Boys wire center, I found that an Escort ('95, I think) had a twin cam engine. Turns out the plug wires are almost identical and were priced $60 cheaper! They have been working fine for a couple thousand miles. The main difference was one end of the coil/distributor wire. I left the old one there and replaced the wires to the plugs. The miss I had disappeared. I'll have to do a little "engineering" if the coil wire goes bad. Skip
