Hello, We have a '95 Windstar. (With a second engine with 30,000 miles on it.) There is a "clinking" noise coming from the front left wheel. First thought it was a small rock inside a hub cap. But that was not it. Any ideas out there as to other possible cause(s) of this annoying noise? Many Thanks!

The brake pads, brake rotors, or main bearings come to mind. Rad

Along with the others that have repied. I would also check any clips that hold the break pads in place. If there are any on the 95. I know they put them on the 01. A little more info might help. Does it rattle on bumps? Turning or stopping? Good luck, Russ Jackson

You might want to take the hub cap off and take a drive without it.  I thought I had a bad wheel bearing on the front but it turned out to be a loose hubcap moving slightly on the wife's 96 Windstar.

Thanks for the replies! The noise is apparent from the the second the van begins moving. Probably will have the brakes looked at for safety reasons. But since this van has become our "in city driving only" van, the next major repair job that comes will not be fixed. Lost actual count of how many times the check engine light has appeared....just know it was thousands of dollars ago.
