Hey guys, Just a little strange behaviour. My Van will not start if the Temp outside drops below 20 degrees. I do have a fairly new battery just a few months old, so I dont think that is the problem. Any ideas? Or should I test the battery? Thanks Tom

If it is an Aerostar it might be the MAP or ACT sensor. www.ford-trucks.com has a very good forum for questions, try there. Jeff 93 Aero >

Hello Tom.   Despite having fuel injection, many vehicles still have special "cold weather starting instructions" in the manual.  I "enlightened" an associate to this a couple winters ago when temps dropped to about -10.  His Neon would not start no matter what he did.  When I told him to hold the gas pedal to the floor, his eyes went WIDE!  No!, he said, it is fuel injected!  When I finally got him to check the manual, low and behold, it said to hold the pedal to the floor when starting in extended colder temperatures!   Just a thought (Occum's Razor...)..  Good luck.   Steve
