hi this is my first mustang it a 1983 v6 it runs nice but when its hot and you turn it off it will not start can someone please help me please

an 83 could still have some vacuum leaks bleeding air into the mixture. 26 year old rubber is dirt. Replace all the vacuum hoses and any broken plastic tees under the hood, and pinch off the vacuum hose running through the firewall to the climate control unit with a vice grip or binder clip. If that helps anything, release the climate control vacuum and see if the problem reoccurs. If it does, you have split hoses or vacuum solenoids under the dash that need to be replaced.
