I have a 1994 f/e limited edition that recently won't start. I'll turn the key and it just won't fire up. If I let it sit for a while and try it again it fires up like there's no problem. It's done this about four times now. I don't want to turn it off when I go somewhere now, I just chance it not starting at home. Anybody have any ideas or same problem? Thanks 8a

I had the exact same problem with my starter in my 1993.  I changed the starter out in March and months later the starter was acting up especially after it had been driven.  This was happening with a new battery and terminals.  It almost acted like there was not enough power going to the starter.  The slow starts then progressed into a click and that was it.  My starter is a lifetime warranty, and I knew I wouldn't get a new one until my current one had completely died.  It sounds like your starter is on it's way out.  Consider yourself lucky most go out with no warning at all.  The starter I had that went out in March gave no warning at all.

First guess would be starter. How many miles? I had to replace the starter in my 91 around 100K or so. Similar symptoms. Eventually it wouldn't start at all. >eighta@ .com writes: > I have a 1994 f/e limited edition that recently won't start. I'll > turn the key and it just won't fire up.
