My O/D light keeps flashing. I had it checked and the guy said it was cause of water in the wires. Does anybody else have this problem. What should I do? Should I take it to another mechanic or is this not an important issue? Chahal 94PSE

my O/D light used to flash...for me the whole transmission had to be replaced...hope this isn't your problem...this problem happens a lot to probes except for the '93...it starts out fine then shifts hard to second...you should get it checked out again...good luck Ralph

Yeah i had the same problem. I brought it to a trans shop and they said they could fix it for now, but they wern't sure if it would come back on again. He said its a problem with a lot of Fords. He said he's has a guy come in for a year and they still couldn't fix it.
