hello I get code p071 or p074 after a long drive and a quick stop.
Already changed maf sensor (remanufactured one) and idle control
valve. pcv valve also new. changing these things made the check
engine light come on much less often. However I still cannot pass
california smog. any advice from anyone. Does anyone know how other
states differ in terms of their smog checks? In california after one
clears the code engine must "reset" This takes about a week of
driving sometimes. In other states does engine computer have to
completely "reset" or can one pass smog by just having check engine
