Drives: 1995 ford F150 V8 5.0L

Tranny stutters a bit when shifting into OD only. I flushed tranny and it helped a bit. It Feels like it may shift to early.
Any ideas? The truck has 388,000 km's on it been well taken care of. Engine runs great but the shifting problem is ok if you let off on the gas and then apply gas again seems to shif alot better. Also the Od switch is busted can't turn it off. It's a real pain when towing. How so you remove old switch seems to be part of the shift handle. The button on the switch is gone broke off when I got the truck.
