I have my second major replacement for my 1998 Windstar. I parked my car on an incline (passenger side down) for 2 hours yesterday. When I got back to the van there was oil on the ground. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from so I had my mechanic look at it. He was under the van a total of about 3 minutes and started laughing. He said "I'll say you have an oil leak." I got under the van and it looked like someone had taken a piece of silly putty and smushed it between two dinner plates. My oil pan gasket had somehow moved out from under the oil pan. So, this will make big repairs for me. The first was the tranny. This one isn't as big, 275 plus a 20 dollar part. I'll let you know how things work out from here. P
