Hi,   The oil pressure on my 93 Probe is always really low (like just a little bit above the low line) however when I check the oil it is right at the full line.  Is this normal on probes?     -Jaime Torres   E-MAIL:

mine is the same way, it has good days and bad days, sometimes its normal usually when the engine is cold but when it warms up it goes down. i just start to ignore it. scott93Se

Either the gauge is faulty or the pressure really is bad. You didn't say what mileage is on the vehicle. I'd first put a second gauge on it and verify the pressure. If it really is almost zero at idle, it implies the oil pump probably needs replacing, and/or your main bearings are shot. Clive
