Hey guys I was just wondering has anybody done any of these things to their car, I am just looking for something that will work what about this super chip I keep hearing about what will that do for the car ? and what else will help out the horse power. Gary I'd just thought I'd let you know that this is my second probe I already have one that is my street driver I kinda wanted to make this one into a drag car if at all possible I'm looking for some high speed performance it really doesn't matter if I keep it from being a gas hog or not. So what is out there that is proven to improve hp I'd like to jack up the speed so I can take those crappy civics that are always at the track it just pisses me off that every weekend I go that is all I see there really isn't any variety in the 2.0 and under races so I wanted to throw this one in the pit hopefully next year and be able to blow them out of the water. I realize that parts come cheap for those cars but they still make performance parts for the probe even though the price is still a little steep I would be more than willing to put a little extra cash in to race one of the only domestic street racers. I can get the money back cause the prize is 1000.00 for the fastest time. any way I'll stop jabbering just let me know what you think. and jeremy I will try to get on probetalk and see what there is to offer. Well, i dont think you could ever turn a 2.0L into a gas hog but i know what you mean. As far as draging and getting the fastest time, im not sure the 2.0L probe is the best way to go but since you have one why not try huh. You're best bet would to be slapping a turbo on that "beast," build up the engine with stronger valve lifters, springs, do some p&p jobs, weight reduction, lower compression pistions (Unless you can get the timing ABSOLUTLY PERFECT), cam gears/camshaft, exhaust and ecu reprogram. not really sure what else you can do with our cars.
