I currently own a 2006 Ford Ranger which is still standing the test of time and even thought I am not planning on getting rid of my old truck any time soon I am considering purchasing another Ford vehicle. The Ford Edge caught my eyes as soon as it came out on the market, but I have not talked to anyone that owns one to get any honest opinions. Will the Edge provide me the versatility I need as a single mother of 2? With children requires lots of hauling and small trips to school, doctors appointments and other activities. Does it have the storage compacity needed to haul the kids and a load of groceries without being over crowded? Honest opinions needed here please.

I'm sure it would. The rear seat is spacious, so plenty of space for extra kids come playdates etc plus school book bags etc. And there's loads of space in the rear, plenty for an average family to fit in grocieries & errands. If you're looking at hauling huge loads I'd stick with the Ranger (cool truck!) but I reckon the Edge will give you plenty of space for daily use.

Thanks for replying! There is definitely no large loads getting moved anywhere which I guess makes me sometimes wonder why I have a truck. LOL I do love the look of the Edge and really think I will get one.

The edge not only looks amazing but it sounds perfect for what you need it for. I've ridden in one before and it certainly spacious, that will not be an issue. It definitely has the storage capacity for your needs.
