I'm thinking that when I replace my pickup, I might choose a van instead. I could do with the load carrying space. Has anyone got anything good (or bad!) to say about the vans in the Ford range? I've never owned one previously so I'm starting from scratch.

What model does your Dad have Lenamae? I quite fancy the E-series, but I'm wondering whether a 4.6L V8 makes it a bit thirsty for what I'm looking for.

My aunt has an E-series that has been around quite a while and it still runs great, 1975 I think.

Blimey, that's nearly as old as me! I bet it's in better condition too. I feel about 100 years old today after spending the day out in the cold & rain.

I've know a good few people to have Ford vans over the years and they can certainly take a beating. They're the kind of vehical you'll have for years and it will take better care of you than you take of it! A reliable vehical for sure!

I agree that the Ford vans in general hold up to the wear and tear. These are great for families. I say go for it. I am thinking about getting myself one. We used to have one years ago and I loved it.
