Hey, whats this about Pacesetters flaking? What does that mean? My buddy just bought a new pacesetter for his GT, is it a cheap system? Fill me in here guys! I was thinking of getting one myself! Nick http://members.xoom.com/nicksprobep >

What it is, is the pacesetter header has a layer of heat-resistant black paint on it, only the pain isn't so heat resistant. After some time the black paint gets so hot it just starts to chip off. Some people dont have the problem, I know, but most people say the same thing about the paint chipping off. Justin 96 base

The paint is resistant only enough so that it doesn't burn or fry off ...but it does eventually flake off. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC '93 Riio-Red PSE, 5-spd
