Hi,

My wife and I have a landscaping business, and own a great 89 Ranger. However, in the middle of moving from Apt to Home, our truck's parking brake started being harder and harder to release. Finally this morning, I was trying to jimmy it, and the handle broke off.

Can anyone help me with identifying what the mechanics of this lever system are. Its such a tight area to try and identify the various moving parts. Worst case scenario: should I cut the cable?
