Hey, I have a 1992 Ford Escort LX 4-Door. I just got my liscence and I'm looking for parts to make my car look sportier and to make it a little faster. Does anyone have an idea of where i could get parts? Also, are there any parts from other cars that would fit onto my escort?

Hey, CDutch4 -<br><br>I own a 94 LX 4-door, and have been parting out my 91 GT.<br><br>I put the GT grille on my LX and am putting the GT bumper (and fog lights) on it as well (gotta paint it white - it's blue).<br><br>I tried to put the GT spoiler on it, but that would entail a bit of bondo and I don't have the time to do it - YET.<br><br>When it comes to the speed, I'm looking into swapping out the 1.9 liter for the 1.8 liter GT engine - but I have been told that it'll entail a LOT of work...(anyone that has done this, the help or advice would be appreciated).<br><br>Also - MANY body parts (both exterior and interior) are interchangable with the 91-95 Mazda Protog?....same car with minor trim differences.<br><br>Good luck, and let me know how it goes.<br><br>- Jim (Sentinel762)
