Roush says that a stock 5.0 HO should see an increase of 35-50HP, and that the stroker motor I'm building will see a gain of almost 100HP over GT-40 heads. Those are very respectable gains. We are hoping to have the heads in production by late summer, 2003. Cost will run around 3000-that is a complete setup, including the equipments and parts needed to change a 5.0 over to a 32 valve DOHC.

DOHC?? That's gotta be extensive although $3k sounds like a bargain! A 32V ohv design isn't possible? Didn't someone make a set for Chevy's OHV engines? Jesse

Found out that the valvetrain will be using a gear drive for the overhead cams-lessens the worry of breaking a belt or chain under severe stresses. The gears will be made of a hardened Ti alloy-light yet strong. Roush says they are about a month away from my production heads.
