Hello All. i have a 94 V6 Bird. I just got the timeing adjusted to factory specs now there is severe power loss between 500-2500 RMPs. once it hits 2500 or so it takes off. Any thoughts?

hey Ram, I'd like to try to help you out. I own a repair shop & I also own a TBIRD . Anyway , did you check the firing order , did you pull wires off? how are the cap & rotor? also was the distributor pulled out , it might be a tooth off. do you have a service light on ?? how does the car idle?? also check for vacuum leaks at the intake , i've run into many intake leaks with 3.8's....if your not sure how to check for a vacuum leak : use a can of carburetor cleaner & spray it around the intake manifold with the engine warm at an idle , if the engine surges you might have a leak..let me know wats up.......
