What's up. Ok, this problem has got me stumped. I have a 93SE and have been having a problem with my brakes. I changed them about 6 months ago. They are grinding. So I figured that the pads probably wore down all the way. So upon inspecting the pads there was still like a 1/3 of an inch left of pad. The rotors had no scratches, just a little line toward the outer rim. I did notice that the pads where wearing unevenly however. Like if this was a new pad (metal plate)-->||<--(pad), mine sort looks like this (metal plate)-->|\<--(pad), and the other side like this (pad)-->\|<--(metal plate). Not that exaggerated though, I also now the the track on the pad(there are two per pad, one on top and one on bottom) is worn unevenly also. So any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like your calipers are sticking on you. Does your car pull to any side or anything like that? If not, then I would suggest flushing your brake system and making sure none of your lines are blocked that would do it too. And make sure you master cylinder isn't clogged up, because the metering valve and the perportioning vavle they control the amount of flow to each set of brakes. I'm not going to get super technical but you should just check those out. It might solve your problem but it won't make it worse. Jose G
