I am a 2 bronco owner in Arizona. I need to find a tailgate for a 94 XLT that was mercilessly hit from behind while I was stuck in freeway traffic. The insurance people and an independent have not been able to locate a used tailgate and the cost for NOS is causing the estimate to go over their lowball limit, they want to total the old fella! Other than the tailgate the damage is minimal, one tough truck!! I would be eternally grateful for any advice, specifically any Bronco only yards that might not be on the databased wrecking yard network in AZ. Are there any other sources that you guys might know of? Would other close years fit the application with minimal modification? Thank you, JW

Any tailgate from a 1987 to 1996 will fit. Read a couple places that '83-86 should fit. ('80-82 had same body, but several parts different) Check out these guys for a tailgate: http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/bronco.html http://www.carpartsdeal.com/F1300CPD/Truck/Bronco/Tailgate/
