Hey everyone. Well, here is my dilemma. I had my Eibach camber kit put on my car and after i had the wheels aligned. this was all in the same day. About 2 hours after my alignment was done i took my car off the rack and went back on with my day. But about 2 hours later, about 25 miles later, the steering wheel because extremely off center. it was turned about 35 degrees to the left. i thought this was very odd considering i just had it aligned! So i called the guys back up, they said bring it in and they would fix it. So The guy who aligned it wanted to go for a ride in it with me. He drove. So he tested it and said it was not the alignment. See, what happens is, ill make a full Left U Turn, and straighten the wheel back out, but the wheels will be straight and the steering wheel will be about 35 degrees to the left. and when i make a right U turn, Ill straighten out the wheels and the steering wheel will be perfectly center. The guy put it on the lift and had me turn the wheels while they were held down and straight on the lift. He Told me that the Rack Mount was loose and it is only going to get worse. BAsically, the mount wont grip the rack like it used to and the rack moves about one inch to and inch and a half and it will only get looser and move more. My question is , have ANY of you probe owners experienced any of this? Is there any recall on this problem? This is going to cost me about $350 bucks says Ford, but i am trying to get estimates anywhere else that i can. I was just curious on your thoughts and possibly experiences with this problem is any of you have ever had any. if anyone has their own opinions on this please write me back. I would also like to know more about The steering mechanism and how it all works. I know Bryan is like a pro with this stuff so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks alot guys. I hope this was descriptive enough, but if not, just email me, ill write ya back. Thanks Nick '96 SE http://members.xoom.com/nicksprobep
