ok hear it is. And I must appologize for giving you the wrong information. I was going with what came off the top of my head. I found my Ford truck glove box book and looked in the maintenance section. I am wrong to tell you Ford says to replace them at 90,000 miles. That is INCORRECT! Ford says spark replacement is due at 100,000 miles.

I've always run ACDELCO Rapid Fire plugs in my 93 4.0 V6 ranger. And raced with them to.

There might have been splitfire plugs in your truck when you bought it, but Ford didn't put them there. The double platnum plugs that your truck came with will last 3 times longer than splitfires and work just fine dude!

No dummies drive rangers! Besides,I'm living with 3ft of snow and you live in California! Now who is the dummy. Anyway the plugs you're after are Motorcraft AGSF 32 FM and can be bought at your local Ford dealer parts dept. Goodluck.

What is your motor......?? 4 banger or the V6...........?? I have a V6 & it did'nt like Bosch Platinums. Too cool a plug. So, I went back to stock. It works fine on those But I hear NGK might be the way to go. Anybody else have some ideas........?? In the end I say just try a couple of different types. good luck.......Craig

Okay i'm going to clear this up right now. A Platiumn plug is not a cold plug it is a hotter burning plug. To determin weather or not a plug is hot or cold. You have to look at the electrode coming out of the spark plug it self. If it has a longer electroder then the plug is hot, if it has a shorter electrode the plug is colder burning. But any platiumn you put in a car is going to burn hotter. Thats what they were disinged for. So now we all know that plaitumn plugs are not cold plugs right??? Jose G

I guess I was misled by a buddy that told me my motor did'nt like the Bosch Platinums because they were a cold plug. Maybe no such thing really. All I know is that the Platinums in my motor did'nt work as well as a set of stocks. I had some misfires that went away when I weny back to the stocks. I'm still learning about heat ranges & such. Well, good luck Chris ........... there's lots of opinions out there on every subject. I listen to as much as I can then make a decision. If it does'nt work then try somthing else. I've never heard of anything that worked the same on two cars .........ya know what I mean...............?? Just experiment a little. Good luck bud............Craig

No platinum, and splitfire admitted in court that their plugs aren't what they cracked up to be. I got a brand new set of Torque Masters for sale for a stock mustang, but one step colder. If anyone's interested in trying them, email me. Turbo Dan << Hey guys, Sure has been quiet. What plugs do yall recomend. I've been told autolite 25's but what about splitfire and various platinum plugs? Ray95GTS >>

Autolite are good plugs, as are NGK. Unless you have money to burn, stay away from splitfire plugs. TM88GT

save yer dough. just stick with motorcraft plugs. keep the stock heat range and gap unless you are modified (cam, heads, intake, etc...). Jeff Ps - has anyone on this list ever put a pre-94 EEC computer into an sn-95 car? I am really sick of the crappy 1994 computer and was wondering what it would take to go to the junk yard and grab a 1989-1993 computer and adapt it to my car.....

Depending on a few situations I would run Autolite 24.. If you are running nitrous or blower or just in a hot environment (Texas) then I would run the colder plugs.   Dale
