I do use the 60/40 fold down seats. I use them occasionally. I don't have pockets behind the front seats so I wouldn't know if they were useful for not, sorry!

Well the 60/40 seats suck. What is the purpose of those seats. They don't even do a true "SPLIT". As far as the pockets, well I don't use them at all really.

I would never use the pockets behind the front seats. Just another thing that could either rip apart or become ugly over a period of use. I have dropped the back seat on many of occasions, (putting a bicycle in, stowing crap for a long road trip, buying too much stuff when out shopping...etc.etc.) but I've never dropped just one side. When I use the fold down, I drop both sides.

I use mine quite often...my fiance has a smaller car than mine so mine does all the haulin'. Let's see...I've put a 30 gal aquarium + stand, 25" TV, a rather large entertainment center (in the box though!!!) A door, and my two dogs who are chow & spitz. I do fld the seats down a lot, but I don't use the pockets in the back seat, bt since mine is a Kona edition, I do use the pockets in the seat covers and find them very useful to hide things such as my umbrella, CD case, hands free device etc. anyways, hope this info helps. Beth

My fold down seats came in really handy when I needed to haul 6 kegs! Party on! Jon
