Hello Everyone

I have an F150 4wd, I have had what seems to be some kind of lock up of the a wheel, possible lock up of a Caliper, anti-lock problem. What happens is that 3 times now when I stop and then try to move foward or backward the vehicle won't move. I know that one rear wheel will turn, I can hear it spinning. If I rock it back and forth for a period of time it seems to loosen up. It happened again today, there is a pretty bad storm here, so I have been driving through quite a few drifts and deep snow. However, this has happened once when the weather was 50 60 degrees, so i don't think it has anything to do with the weather. It has happenen in 2 and 4 wd. Has anyone any ideas as to what could possilbly be going on. I looked at the recalls and there doesn't seem to be anything there. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Duane

rust in the caliper cylinder will do this. Also, air leaks caused by deteriorated rubber in the caliper will cause the caliper not to retract properly, and lock up. This is if you have disk brakes.
