Hi. I've had my '94 Probe for 3 months and the only problem (so far) has been an intermittant starting glitch. If I start the car and drive a mile and switch off, then return to the car and drive another short distance and switch it off, and again repeat the proceadure, then this time it will not start. The engine is spinning over and its making all the right noises, but it will not start. By accident I discovered that if I lock up the car and leave it for 10 - 15 minutes, when I return it will start as if nothing is wrong and drives without any problem. The repair shop have no idea what to do with it. Do any of you Probetechs out there have the answer, pleeeeeeease.

Sounds a lot like an alarm problem. Do you have an alarm or any kind of electronic theft deterrent? I had a somewhat similar problem on another car I owned (not alarm related). I turned out to be the ignition switch in the steering column. DJM On Thu, 03 Aug 2000 16:08:32 -0000 "Dave " <Dave@...> writes: > Hi.
