That latest news on the gears is it may be about 3 more weeks before the gears are ready. It did finally get in contact with the "manufacturer" of the gears and the owner was very nice, and explained everything that was going on. Basically they are building proto-types now, and testing them on a 97 PSE test bed. They dyno test the gears, test them for tensile and strength properties, and proper fitment of the timing belt avoid wear of the t-belt, etc. They had some difficulties with the first prototype, and are currently machining the second prototype. He said that they will have second prototype tested in the next week or so, and should be able to let me know a accurate ship date from that point. It certainly sounds like we will be getting a quality product though. We may even be able to get some dyno results along with the proper adjustments before we even get the gears too. I will update you guys in the next week or so.
