The benefit in changing the current waterpump, altenator, and crank pullies to an aftermarket pulley system is that the smaller diameter pullies take less of a drag to spin. I installed the ASP pullies on my 95GT and noticed a little bit of performance difference. Mostly in the lower to midrange. Its an easy install and well worth it in my opinion. I have seen tests ran on dyno's that the pullies actually gave the car around 6-7HP. But its rediculous for them to claim 10-30HP theres no way. Good luck Greg

Ronky, The pulleys you are asking about are called "underdrive pulleys". The performance gains you would see will show up beacuse they "underdrive" the waterpump and the alternator therefore creating less drag on the motor. I have them on my car and I can tell you that you will need to increase your idle speed to 950 RPM's to get a full charge and if you have an upgraded stereo (subwoofer, etc.) you will need to keep the stock alternator pulley to help the car from stalling out at idle. In regards to horsepower improvement, I would say that you could expect 7-15 rear wheel horsepower from the pulleys and about 2 tenths off your quater mile times. Remember that when some companies advertise what might sound like crazy horsepower improvements like up to 30 horsepower from pulleys that they are probably refering to flywheel horsepower and not rear wheel horsepower (there is a huge difference between the two). Good luck, Chris
