I have a 2003 CV with the sport package. In regard to the REAR shocks: It has the air bag shocks plus the regular shocks, which I believe was also an option on the LXmodel. I couldn't get a straight answer from the dealerships on which shock I needed. I wanted to order the shocks from NAPA (much cheaper) and they had 3 shock choices for the CV; the standard, LX and Police. Ford told me that the LX could have either the standard or air bag plus shock, options. So I believe since the sport model has the air bags it would need the same ones as the LX with the air bag option. The car isn't a police so it wouldn't use that heavy duty shock, and it isn't a standard because it has the air bag shocks as well. That leaves the LX with air bag shock. Napa and other parts sellers have those 3 shock choices to pick from. But the dealerships wouldn't say if there were 3 shock choices or if there was a totally unique shock for the CV with the sport package. So I was hoping you might know if I am correct about needing the shock that goes with the LX air bag option? I don't think they would have made a special shock for the sport package CV which there were not too many produced and which is basically a car with better suspension, a center console, sport wheels, etc. But the dealer would not give me an answer. Thanks for any help! Dan

Dan, if possible, I would pull one of the old shocks off and match it up. But if you dont want to stiffen it up at all, i would start by ordering the sport shocks!!! Dale
