Ok, I am going to order a J-spec intake camshaft for my 96 PSe, and I was wondering if anyone has done this, but with some exceptions, I dont have an aftermarket exhaust or header, will that be bad because of all the air that the motor will be trying to force out, due to the cam? This is the route I decided to go, because I thought about swapping for the 2.5, but then my dad and I found out how much trouble it would be, and decided against it.But any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Richard

Ok, J-spec Cam The deal is that this cam has been proven to make up to 10hp at the wheels but at a higher rmp that the A-spec. As for as not having an exhaust, you are not going to hurt anything by getting it. But you will see greater gains after installing an exhaust. Go and check out probenet.com to see the dyno results of this cam. The engine with this cam had an intake and header. As far as install goes you should have someone install it for you. Hopefully you live near a shop that has a dyno. Your car should be tuned to this cam to get the greatest gains. MattKnudsen 93 Base
