i have a 2000 f150 with a triton v8 (5.4) i opened it up on the high way and it pegged the speedomiter at 100 mph but was only at around 3000 rpm's as close as i can guesstemate it topped out at or around 115-120 mph i told a friend and he freaked he said that my f150 should have topped out at 97 mph he said that it was probbably modded from the previous owner (or factory) so if any one could tell me a little more about the subject i would greatly appreceate it gary (USN)
