Im new to this group, usually drive Jeeps, but have always loved the look of the early bronco's. I have found a 1974 bronco with low miles and was wondering what to look for as far as any problem areas that i may encounter? Its automatic, 4 wd, nice hard top and great stock interior. very stock, not much has been added/modified. Do certain parts commonly fail/rust? What is NOT faverable to buy or a pain to fix?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Check the lip on the top where the it meets the windshield for rust. The frame rails in the back on either side of the gas tank sometimes rot. Rockers, front and back door posts, floor boards all are prone to rust. Does it have pwr steering or disc brakes? It is worth it if it does, these are hard to find options.
Hope this helps, maybe someone else can expand on this!
Later,
Jeff
http://www.broncoadventures.homestead.com
